There was chemistry in the air for me over the weekend! Amidst the cosy ambience, I could see rainbows filling up against the walls of my eyes. I quickly ran through what I was looking for and there he was – looking just perfect in pink and topped with some fresh nuts. Pink? Nuts?
I am talking about Cream Chemistry, the ice-cream store that serves unique ice creams at Sahakara Nagar in North Bangalore/Bengaluru. What were you thinking?
Cream Chemistry – Unique Ice Creams in Bangalore
Cream Chemistry in North Bangalore has a very nice feel to it with four different styles of seating arrangements – all in wood. The lighting was nice – nothing really fancy, just right.
Staff was courteous and the live work counter was clean.
One wall was flooded with colourful post-its showing reviews from happy customers.
A board filled with chemical element symbols like Mg (Mango) Pb (Peanut Butter), Ho (Honey), etc. sent me back to my chemistry class. Innovative and attention drawing!
The store has nicely laid out the menu with various sections like ‘Chemistry Creations’, ‘Chocolatey Compounds’, ‘Taco Transitions’, ‘Fruity Formulae’ etc. with fancy ice creams to drool over.
Cream Chemistry is popular for its unique ‘Brain Freezers’ which are choco-sticks frozen using liquid Nitrogen. Blow out vapours as you indulge! This is an experience worth etching in your memory for life with family and friends. Unfortunately, I do not have a picture to share. Other items on the menu include milkshakes and scoop ice-creams.
We went for the ‘Chilly Guava’ from the ‘Fruity Formulae’ section, Rose Gold from ‘Chemistry Creations’ and Rocky Road Waffles. The first two are rolled ice creams created over the freezing plate on the work counter. The ‘Formulae’ is mixed and poured over the plate and the maker goes chop, chop, chop with mixing knives to create perfect ice cream rolls.
Chilly-Guava served with slices of guava stood out in the test – creamy, heavy and delicious.
Rocky Road Waffle was huge, soft and perfect, topped with Vanilla ice-cream nuts and chocolate.
Ice creams have definitely found a way to create chemical reactions in my brain and I am craving more! Don’t go by my word, just go and try out the variety of flavours at Cream Chemistry in Sahakara Nagar, North Bangalore. Most certainly, I am surely going to try out the Brain Freezers and post some pictures/videos next time. If you have been here before and want to have your say, do share your review in the comments below.
My Verdict: Kids will love this place! Good ambience, good ice-creams, a great place for everyone alike.
